A Call to Grandmothers & Women Who Care about the Children

Bigger Conversations presents…

A Day of Imagination, Inspiration, and Movement on Saturday, October 15, 9 am – 1:30 pm

Retreat and Conference Center at Bon Secours,  5525 Marriottsville, Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104

A Day for Grandmothers and GrandOthers who care about the children and the grandchildren.
Bring your power and your love, your joys and your sorrows! We are living in turbulent times. The tenor of the cultural discourse is disturbing to many. Let us come together to renew ourselves in the grace of our connection to one another.

We will focus our attention, and clarify our intentions. We will find inspiration in the words of mystics and wise women. We will sing and move and break bread! And we will turn inward and listen to our hearts.

The traveling Grandmothers Coat (inspired by our 2014 gathering) will be presented and we will tell the story of the Coat.

Let’s create a deeper narrative, for the sake of the children and the world. Together we will craft a communal intention, harvested from Love and Spirit, that we can carry into our daily living.

Fee: $20. To register (required), contact: Barbara Catlin at [email protected] or 443-799-0308.  We reserved a room over-looking the lake.  Weather permitting, some sessions outside.  Lunch included.

Feel free to invite others who may be interested.  This event is part of the Grandmothers Project, started in 2014 by Bigger Conversations. [This is not a political event.]
