Join us for a day of reflection and imagination. With a healthy awareness of mortality, our lives become more loving and intentional. When hearts break, they can break open to possibility. Bring your sorrows and your joys.
Nourish your vitality and explore possibilities.
- Focus on acknowledgment, grief, and gratitude.
- Learn the important work of the dying person – this is work that belongs to all of us everyday.
- Learn 5-minute practices for being in present moment.
- Identify that which brings you nourishment and joy.
Fee: TBA. This is a community class open to all. Bring a friend or a family member. (6 PDAs approved for acupuncturists).

Instructor: Barbara Catlin, M.Ac, a hospice volunteer for 20 years, leads Caregiver Wellness Circles® for family caregivers, teaches classes to volunteers and staff at local hospices, and offers Transformative Guidance to patients nearing the end of life. Ms. Catlin holds a Master degree in Acupuncture and maintains a private practice in Columbia, MD. She is Founder and Executive Director of Bigger Conversations. She taught classes on death & dying at Tai Sophia Institute (MUIH) for many years.
